The abortion industry should not be above the law. Those obligated to enforce the law should not look the other way to protect their political friends. When judges find probable cause to believe that crimes have been committed then those with the responsibility to prosecute crimes must prosecute the case. It is time for Mr. George Tiller to be charged with the crimes that a judge has found probable cause to believe that Tiller has committed in the state of Kansas. Therefore...

“We, the undersigned, insist that the laws of the United States and of Kansas be enforced by those charged with such a duty. No one should be held above the law. The current actions of the newly elected Kansas Attorney General Paul Morrison and Sedgwick County District Attorney Nola Foulston, to protect their abortion industry supporters, is contrary to their sworn duty to the offices of which they have been entrusted by the people of Kansas.

It is time to Charge Tiller – it’s the law.

This petition further states that anyone who claims to be prolife, both in the private sector, running for or holding public office, can not stand by silently and pretend this is not happening. Contemplate the fact that George Tiller is walking free today despite all of the following facts:

• Young girls are being raped and taken into clinics for abortions and no one acts to protect them.
  
• Fully developed children, moments from natural birth, are having their lives ended contrary to Kansas law and the abortion doctor is protected by the prosecutors primarily responsible for enforcing the law.
  
• A politician (Attorney General Paul Morrison), having received millions of dollars of campaign support from the abortion industry, now elected, ignores criminal charges filed against a late-term abortionist and mainstream media is silent.
  
• Two judges, the only two judges to review the evidence, find probable cause to believe that crimes have been committed and one judge finds probable cause to believe that late-term abortionist George Tiller committed numerous crimes; yet two “pro-choice” prosecutors in Kansas, District Attorney Nola Foulston, and newly elected Attorney General Paul Morrison conspire to dismiss the charges.
  
• The 30 charges, filed by former Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline, allege that Tiller performed abortions on late-term and viable unborn children and that Tiller claimed that the abortions where necessary because the mother would suffer depression, anxiety disorder or adjustment disorder if the abortions where not performed.
  
• Kansas law clearly states that late-term abortions are illegal unless the mother will suffer “severe and irreversible damage to a major bodily function” if the abortion is not performed. Depression, anxiety disorder and adjustment disorder are not irreversible and abortion is not a treatment for these conditions.
  
• George Tiller is not a psychologist or psychiatrist but only a pathologist and is not even qualified to make these determinations.
  

As a prolife American, I also urge through this petition the Kansas Legislature to use the full extent of their power to bring forth the evidence and do whatever it takes to bring justice for the women and children of Kansas:
